Information we collect
- Google account details used to sign you in: your Google account identifier, name, email address, profile image, and email-verification status.
- If you choose Apple sign-in when available, Apple and Google Identity Platform verify your login. TextVeil receives a Firebase account identifier, verified email address (including an Apple relay address if you choose Hide My Email), and any name supplied. Apple login does not automatically link your Google or email/password account.
- Account and security records, including active sessions, subscription status, API-key identifiers, usage totals, and security audit events. Raw agent API keys and session tokens are not stored.
- Text and instructions you submit, and the generated edit, are saved to your account history so you can reopen past runs. We also use that history to improve Humanize and related product quality. Application request logs store hashes and metadata, not manuscript bodies. Configured AI providers may process request content under their own policies.
- Billing status and transaction references supplied by Stripe. TextVeil does not receive your full card number.
- Basic request, device, and error information used for security, reliability, and abuse prevention.
How we use information
We use this information to authenticate users, operate the editor and API, keep your edit history, enforce subscription limits, process billing, secure accounts, investigate failures or abuse, and train and improve Humanize and related product quality. We do not sell personal information.
Service providers
TextVeil uses Google Identity Services for Google sign-in, Apple through Google Identity Platform for optional Apple sign-in, and Google Cloud services for hosting, Stripe for subscription billing, OpenRouter to route editing requests to selected model providers, and Google Fonts to deliver the site's typefaces. OpenRouter and the routed model providers may process the request content needed to return an edit; the browser may contact Google Fonts to download font files. Each provider processes information needed for its role under its own terms and privacy policy.
Retention and deletion
Account, billing, and edit-history records are retained while your account is active and as needed for legal, security, accounting, and product-improvement purposes. You can review or delete individual edits from the editor history. Expired sessions are rejected immediately and scheduled for deletion. You may request account deletion by emailing the address below. Some records may be retained where legally required or necessary to prevent fraud.
Security and API keys
Browser sessions use secure, HttpOnly cookies. Agent API keys are displayed once and stored only as one-way identifiers. You are responsible for keeping any key you create confidential and revoking it if it may have been exposed.
Your choices
You may review active sessions, revoke sessions and agent keys, manage your subscription, open or delete saved edits from the editor history, or sign out from the account page. You can also revoke TextVeil's Google or Apple access from that provider's account settings. Revoke active sessions in TextVeil as well to end existing TextVeil access.
Children
TextVeil is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this policy as the service changes. The date above identifies the current version.
